Job Description

🎯 Your Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

  • Plan and deliver engaging, individualised lessons based on IEP/ITP goals

  • Track and report on student progress and developmental milestones

  • Lead daily classroom routines, ADL/life skills training, and co-curricular activities (CCA)

  • Apply positive behavioural strategies to support students’ emotional and social growth

Team Collaboration

  • Guide and support Teacher Assistants, Class Wardens, and new teachers

  • Work closely with parents/caregivers, therapists, and school teams

  • Help plan and run school-wide events and class-based activities

Beyond the Classroom

  • Attend training and workshops to grow professionally

  • Contribute innovative ideas and best practices with your team

  • Maintain classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean learning space

Job Requirements

What You Bring

  • Min. GCE ‘A’ Levels or Polytechnic Diploma (credit in English at O-Level required)

  • Experience in interacting with and/or working with individuals with moderate to severe autism in SPED school classroom settings

  • At least 2 years of experience in education or working with persons with disabilities

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills

  • A heart for service, and a drive to go the extra mile

You’ll create and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student’s learning goals, helping them achieve growth in academics, social skills, and daily living. Beyond teaching, you’ll mentor assistants, collaborate with parents and therapists, and contribute to a caring and inclusive school environme
